With Jing we can capture image and can make videos. Using Jing we can give feedback to students, make quick guides to help students in the computer lab, record educational websites for students, and more. Students can use Jing to communicate their understanding and questions they might have, capture and annotate an image for a digital portfolio, and more. Teachers and students can control this sort of visual communication to improve understanding, clarity, and efficiency.
I use Skype at home to communicate with my family but I never thought of using Skype in the classroom. One way to use Skype in the classroom is that we can have audio conferencing to literally plug the students into collaborative exchanges with global partners who are learning similar and related content.
